Pringles dispenser
I was tasked with designing a coin-operated dispenser. Throughout this project, I delved into the intricacies of internal mechanisms, structural integrity, assembly, and the manufacturing process. The combination of these efforts yielded a functional model capable of dispensing one Pringles can when the correct amount of money was inserted. One of the challenges was to ensure the machine would only operate with the right amount of money inserted.
I started this project by conducting thorough research on my topic, studying the mechanisms used in such machines. Following this, I created sketches and performed calculations to ensure the functionality of my machine. Once I had a comprehensive plan, I proceeded to build the external body of the machine, purchased all necessary parts, and connected the moving components to an Arduino, which I programmed. The final steps involved assembling all the parts, placing them in position, and filling the machine with Pringles.
